“My father's compassion for street animals became my life's mission.”
I grew up watching my father feed the dogs outside our home every day. He would feed them before eating himself, sometimes even sharing from his own plate.
There was one dog in particular who stayed close to him, walking alongside him through the streets, waiting outside our house, always there, always loyal.
I saw the same bond with my family, and at the same time, I saw how badly these animals were treated, ignored, chased away, and often harmed.
That contrast stayed with me. Over time, it became a responsibility to speak for those who cannot speak, and that is what led to the beginning of Equal Justice Foundation.
Every day, we come across animals who are injured, abandoned, or left to suffer without help.
What started as a small effort has grown into a space where animals receive care, treatment, and protection. Today, we are responsible for animals who depend on us completely, many of them paralyzed, critically injured, or unable to survive on the streets.
We do not see this as just shelter work. Every animal we take in is treated with dignity and care, regardless of their condition. Some may never walk again, but they will never be left without support.
Our work extends beyond the shelter. Through feeding drives, medical care, and consistent on-ground efforts, we aim to reduce suffering and create a safer environment for animals.
But this work cannot continue without support.
Every contribution helps us rescue, treat, and care for animals who have no one else to rely on. It allows us to continue doing what needs to be done, every single day.
If you choose to support us, you become part of this effort, not just as a donor, but as someone helping change the life of an animal in need.
With gratitude,
